Battles V2

According to the developers, the forthcoming new battle gameplay, Axie Infinity: Origin or the Battles V2, will be the game’s “massive battle upgrade that will make Axie faster, more fun, and easier for your friends and family to get started with!”

Currently, Origin is set for an internal test. If Battle V2 passes this period, it will be released to a select group of veteran battlers for a test run.

For this month the team in charged of the new gameplay were primarily focused on balancing cards, improving art and animations, as well as making the user interface easier to understand.

“This was a lot of polishing in preparation for getting it into the hands of real testers!” the developers wrote.

On the other hand, the gameplay for Land is currently “under development”, the developers admitted but it doesn’t mean there is none. The monthly progress of the Land team includes, latest upgrade to the art, an increase on the total size of land plots to allow for more functionality, rules and requirements around inventory management, different map and camera views, and tech trees and structures

In addition, they have included and further defined the bonuses and advantages of various land type. The developers also started research and experimentation around upgrading resource requirements.

Lunacia, also known as Land, is a feature in Axie Infinity that will allow players to build up a base by gathering resources and building structures and decorations. And would eventually let players fight for control of neutral territory and resources.

Ronin Dex, on the other hand, is “getting closer” according to the update report. Although it already has a launch date, the developers can’t reveal it yet.

“We will not disclose this yet in case we need to push it.” the developers added.

Ronin Dex will allow Axie players and investors to trade SLP, AXS, wETH, on Ronin itself, letting them avoid the gas fees of going through other crypto wallets and exchanges.

As of now, players and investors can buy AXS and SLP on Ronin using card through Ramp Network
